Third Grade ATLAS Testing is on Monday!! Please make sure your student is here on time so they can test with their class. If your child is sick, it is important you notify the office so that we can schedule a time for a make up assessment. *See fun flyers below for our testing incentives we have planned!*

Reminders:

• Be sure to check out information about The Read-A-Thon that was sent home with your child.
• Our Yearbook order through the company has closed. If you still would like to purchase one, please bring $30 to the office ASAP (Cash or Check to Young Elem) to put your name on the waitlist. Depending on how many we receive, we will go through the waitlist in order money was turned in.

• Summer STEAM Camp opportunity and information about the first Young Fishing Derby can be seen below.

We will have a PTA meeting on Tuesday, April 14th at 8:00AM in the library. We would love to have you as we work on our plans to finish up the year strong.

The Read-A-Thon starts next week! Be sure to register your reader so they can log their minutes. Teachers will take students to fun themed reading spots each day next week. Let's get reading! Students/Classes will be earning prizes for reading minutes and fundraising to keep adding supplies to the STEAM lab.

We LOVE when parents come to eat with their child! However, during summative testing, we ask that you and your child eat outside on our picnic tables to limit the noise in our hallways. We often have testing happening throughout the main hall throughout the day.

Kindergarten Registration has started! Do you live in the Young Elementary Zone and have a child who will be 5 on or before August 1, 2026? If so, please complete the enrollment paperwork today! We will have an Open House on May 4th for those enrolled! We are excited for the opportunity for you to see the school, classrooms, and meet the staff.

We are excited to offer families the opportunity to celebrate their child’s birthday by displaying a Happy Birthday on our outdoor digital sign!

• The happy birthday will be displayed during your child’s birthday week for $10. Complete the digital form AND then pay and the Happy Birthday message will be displayed.

• The earlier, the better! Sign up now and we'll have your child's name on the calendar & their Happy Birthday message ready to go.

• NOTE: We are not here over long breaks or on the weekend. Please enter birthdays in advance if you want them displayed on your child's special day.
