LIBRARY NEWS π
At this point, all students should have returned their library books. If students still have missing books, they will continue to receive fine notices home until that is resolved.
Tech collection begins this week for all students.
Students will be responsible for turning in all pieces in good working condition to their library on their grade levels assigned day. If a student has any lost or damaged items, they will be receiving a bill to be paid before the end of the school year. Unpaid fines will remain on the students record.
Wednesday, May 29th -- TK, Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Thursday, May 30th -- 2nd and 3rd Grades
Friday, May 31st -- 4th and 5th Grades
If your student is attending summer school, they DO NOT need an iPad checked out to them.
If your 5th grader is attending summer school at the Middle School, they WILL keep their iPad to bring with them.

24-25 SCHOOL YEAR CHANGES
BREAKFAST OFFERED BEFORE SCHOOL ONLY! π§π₯
1) A hot meal served in the cafeteria.
2) A grab and go option from a breakfast cart.
Benefits to these options include:
- The offering of hot meals, not just prepackaged, as currently offered.
- Fresh fruits and items previously not offered will be available next year.
- Maximized learning time---instruction will begin when school starts!
This means, it will be critical for you to get your child to school BEFORE school, if they would like to eat breakfast at school.
NO UNIFORMS REQUIRED ππ§£π§¦
Your input was collected, and the majority of staff, students, and parents voted for a change to student dress code. Next year, we will move to a "free" dress code, and uniforms will not be required (although you may still wear them if you so choose). Instead we will wear free dress, abiding by standard district dress code. Clothing or jewelry promoting alcohol, drugs, tobacco, violence, displaying unacceptable messages, displaying foul or inappropriate language or symbols will not be allowed.
We will still have 1 spirit day a week-- on Fridays, when students will be encouraged to wear school colors (red and black) or Felicita shirts/gear.
