Seventh grader Josiah has committed to play baseball in Cooperstown next summer, the latest milestone in a journey that started when he was just three years old. Along the way he's earned multiple MVP awards, played in the Junior All-American Games in Arizona, and competed at All-State in Dallas.

But Josiah's SPARC shines brightest off the stat sheet. He's Successful, working hard and growing with every season. He's Productive and Adaptable, showing up with a positive attitude no matter the challenge. And he's Resilient and a true Citizen, supporting his teammates and staying humble through every win.

Josiah plays because he loves the game, and that love shows in who he is both on and off the field.

Happy September!

This year is moving quickly! Our students are working hard and doing a fantastic job. The behavior across campus has been exemplary, and I am so proud of our students!

This is Mr. Gormley's 8th year in education. He began as a special education teacher, then taught 4th grade elementary, followed by 7th grade math and science across 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. He now teaches Health and HOSA. A Las Cruces native, Mr. Gormley attended Mesilla Valley Christian School for middle and high school.

Fun facts: he is a master level scuba diver who lived aboard a boat in the Caribbean for a year and spent a year in Costa Rica working for the Red Cross.

Our football and volleyball teams are off to a great season! They have been competing against middle schools across the district and representing Camino with pride. Our student-athletes continue to work hard both on and off the field and court. Keep it up, Wildcats! 💜
