Principal's Message
Greetings Bruin families-
Spring semester is well underway. Please check in with your student and the Parent portal in Aeries to assist your student with staying on top of their assignments. Progress report grades will be coming out February 7th. Encourage your student to complete and submit all assignments. Reach out to the teacher if you have any concerns about your student's progress in a specific class.
We are also heading into the season of assessment. All 9th grade students will be completing the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) in PE this semester. Please read the letter provided in the newsletter for more information about the PFT. Our English Learners will be taking the Summative ELPAC assessment in February. This assessment measures their level of English proficiency. The CASSPP assessments will occur in April. We will share more information in March. We encourage all of our students be well rested and to do their personal best on these assessments.
Sincerely-
Mrs. Hummel
