Many of these improvements are easy to notice as you visit our schools, and we appreciate the opportunity to keep you informed as the work continues. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we invest in learning environments that will benefit our students for years to come.

Several important milestones were reached this week as work continued to advance across the Morse School renovation.

Outside, crews:

  • Continued installing courtyard pavers and new Trex decking.
  • Protected and preserved the north stairwell railings.
  • Completed another section of the rear sidewalks.

Inside the building, crews:

  • Continued work on the new heating and cooling systems, electrical upgrades, and plumbing.
  • Installed additional lighting controls, smoke detection devices, and exit signs.
  • Continued preparing the kitchen, cafeteria, custodial office, boiler room, fan room, and first- and second-floor restrooms for renovation.

With each phase completed, the project continues to move forward as planned, bringing us one step closer to welcoming students and staff into refreshed, modern learning spaces.
