Happy Friday Panther Families!!! It's been another busy week here at the middle school.

We will be hosting our second night of Parent/Teacher conferences on Tuesday October 22, 2024. There will be two sessions from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. If you have not signed up to meet with your child's teacher, here is the link to do so. Tuesday will also be a half day and school ends at 11:30 am.

I would like to thank all of our Fall Sports Athletes (Cross Country, Volleyball, and Football) for representing our middle school in a positive, respectful, and responsible manner this season. Our next seasons are beginning on Monday with 6th, 7th, and 8th Boys Basketball practices starting and our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Competitive Cheer team season starting as well. If your child is competing on any middle school team they will need to have a current sports physical on file in the high school athletic office and be academically eligible. Your child's behavior in school, at practices, and at games is also a part of their eligibility. Please call our middle school office at (269) 623-1541 if you have any athletic questions.

As always, I would like to thank our students, staff, families, and community for all of their hard work and support. Next week we will be hosting a Community Forum on Monday October 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the upstairs Multipurpose room in the elementary to discuss facilities planning for the future of our district. We will also have our monthly board of education meeting on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the upstairs Multipurpose room in the elementary. We hope to see and hear from you at one of these district events!

The athletic department has implemented some new tools and strategies to streamline communication and transparency throughout the department. These new programs should help streamline communication, event ticket purchases and potentially some registrations in the near future.

* Eventlink.com is where information for athletic events and facility usage can be found. Tickets and season passes can be purchased through Eventlink, and you are able to customize your experience by choosing which sports you would like communications from.

* Finalforms.com is where physicals and other important documents should go. These documents can be uploaded by your phone by taking a picture of the document.

* The Athletic Department would prefer all pay to participate payments go through this virtual portal for all Middle School and High School athletes.

* Hudl.com is where fans can subscribe to watch live streams of home events that occur at the turf stadium or the High School main gymnasium.

Lost and Found items will be retained for 30 days. After which, they will be donated locally. If you have a student that is missing something, please ask them to check the lost and found shelf, located near the entrance to the cafeteria. If you would like to claim an item, please stop by the middle school office Mon-Fri 7:30 - 3:30.
