Message from Ms. Scheufele Message from Ms. Scheufele

What an amazing week at Phelps!

We kicked things off with our Family Engagement and Empowerment Course on Monday, where families learned practical ways to help children grow as strong readers and mathematicians. It was inspiring to see families partnering with us to support learning at home!

Later in the week, our volleyball game with staff and fourth graders brought out big smiles and even bigger hearts — raising $365 for the Rockland Holiday Magic Foundation and collecting a large box of food donations for the Rockland Food Pantry.

Our students, families, and staff are truly rocking it — showing every day what it means to learn, grow, and give back together.

Have a wonderful long weekend, Phelps families!

Phelps Second Annual Trunk or Treat Phelps Second Annual Trunk or Treat

Phelps Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 pm. Come in your costumes and visit our staff members' decorated cars for a treat. An adult must accompany all students who participate. This is not a drop-off event.

Due to the size of our school, and the fact that this is a free event, trunk or treaters are limited to Phelps Elementary School students only or their younger siblings. This event is open to students in grade 4 or younger. Please no scary masks or pretend weapons. This is an event for our young students and their families.

Please sign up here by Friday, October 17, 2025 if you plan to come to this event. We need an accurate count to plan for enough treats. Indicate your child(ren)'s name and grade using the link below.

If you wish to help our staff in providing candy to our large population of students, and can donate a bag of wrapped candy, please indicate below and deliver the donation to the office by Monday, October 20, so that we can plan accordingly. We are looking forward to this event! Thank you!
