Welcome Back, Maie Ellis Mustangs!

It is with great pride and excitement that we open our doors for the 2025–2026 school year! Our first day of school is Monday, August 11, 2025. All of us at Maie Ellis Elementary are eager to begin what promises to be an inspiring and successful year of learning and growth.

School begins at 8:30 a.m. The first bell will ring at 8:25 a.m., so please make every effort to ensure your child arrives on time each day.

Our top priority is to ensure a safe and smooth arrival and dismissal for all students. The safety of our students, staff, and families matters deeply to us. Please take a moment to watch the MEE Back to School Important Information video linked below. It was also sent via email and can be found on our social media accounts and school website.

Regular attendance and being at school on time every day, is a key factor in a student’s success in school. However, your child is presenting with illness symptoms(fever, diarrhea, sore throat, vomiting, etc.) students should stay home.

• If your child is absent from school please send a note with a parent signature or call the attendance line at 760-731-4302; state the student’s name, teacher, absence date, reason for absence, and relation to student.
