As we approach the upcoming STAAR testing season, we wanted to take a moment to share some important information and provide support to ensure a positive testing experience for all students.

STAAR tests are an important part of Texas' educational system, and while they help us gauge your child's academic progress, we want to remind you that these tests are just one way of measuring their growth. Our primary goal is to ensure that your child feels prepared, confident, and supported throughout this process.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as the testing dates approach:

Testing Dates: April 15 - Reading , April 22 - 5th grade Science, and April 29 - Math.

Encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep before the test and have a healthy breakfast the day of. A calm, positive mindset can make a big difference. Please ensure your child arrives on time on each testing day. We understand that testing can cause anxiety for some students. Please know that we are here to support them every step of the way. If your child has accommodations, we are committed to ensuring they receive the necessary support.

We are proud of all the hard work your child has put in this year, and we are confident that they will do their best. Thank you for your continued support in helping them succeed.

Autism Awareness Month:

April is autism awareness month. As we observe Autism Awareness Month, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our journey and share a few thoughts with you all. Autism is something that is very close to our hearts, and this month provides an opportunity to not only raise awareness but also celebrate the incredible individuals who live with autism. This month, we hope to spread more than just awareness. We hope to foster understanding, compassion, and acceptance. Every person with autism is different, and every journey is unique. We ask for your continued support in helping to create a world that embraces all neurodiversity.

Let’s continue to learn, grow, and spread love and acceptance for all individuals, regardless of how they navigate the world.
