A Message From Principal Owens
Dear CSP High School Families,
Welcome back! Our team has worked throughout the summer to strengthen the academic, behavioral, and communication systems that support our students. We are excited to partner with you for a successful school year.
This message includes important information about:
Student Chromebooks
All students must have a Chromebook available for school use and should bring it to school fully charged each day. Families who need to rent a Chromebook for the school year should complete the Chromebook Rental Form.
Please read the message in its entirety and review the attached infographics with your student. Beginning the year with a shared understanding of our expectations will help us maintain a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment.
Please save the dates for these upcoming events:
First Day of School for All Students: Tuesday, August 25
Back to School Night: Tuesday, September 15, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.
We look forward to welcoming our students back!
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures for Families
Greetings CSP Families,
As we prepare for the start of the school year, we are sharing important information regarding our arrival and dismissal procedures. Please review the following materials carefully:
Video outlining the traffic pattern for carpool students
Procedures for High School student drivers transporting Middle School siblings
We ask that all families exercise patience while navigating the parking lots and follow the directions of school staff on duty. This will be our first time managing arrival and dismissal across both the Middle School and High School campuses. We anticipate that it may take some time for everyone to become familiar with the new procedures.
Our team will closely monitor the traffic patterns, make adjustments as needed, and communicate any changes with the school community.
Thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we work together to ensure a safe and orderly arrival and dismissal process for all students.
Sincerely,
Principal Owens
Senior Parking - Deadline for Applications is September 8
All seniors will be parking in front of the gym area this school year. The spaces are not labeled yet, so please just pick an empty space and park there. Please make sure your purple parking tag is hanging from the rearview mirror at all times while parked on school grounds. If you have not received your tag yet, please see Ms. O'Brien to pick it up when you arrive to school.
If you have questions about senior parking, please email Ms. O'Brien at aobrien@mycsp.org.
Lastly, seniors have until September 8 to submit the parking application and necessary paperwork. If you are a senior and will need to park on school grounds at anytime this school year, you need to submit the paperwork by September 8.
Parking applications were emailed home to senior parents. If you need a copy, please email Ms. O'Brien.
PLEASE HELP US WELCOME OUR NEW STAFF MEMBERS!
Ms. Thompson
I will be working at the front desk for the upcoming school year. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Business Administration at Rasmussen University.
I live in Laurel with my husband and three daughters, who are ages 16, 15, and 12 years old.
Ms. Rawls
Hello CSP Families,
My name is Chiquita Rawls, and I am excited to join the Chesapeake Science Point High School community as a Teacher Support Assistant (TSA) this school year.
I attended Anne Arundel Community College and currently live in Severn, Maryland. I am a proud mother of two wonderful sons, Kaivion and Karter, who keep me busy and inspired every day.
Outside of school, I enjoy volunteering in my community, spending time with my family, and cheering my boys on in their many sports. I also have a passion for helping others and am pursuing a lot at the moment. I also serve as the Secretary for CSP PAC and enjoy supporting our school community.
I am looking forward to getting to know our students, supporting our teachers, and being a positive part of the CSP family. I can’t wait for a great school year!
Mr. Bean
Hello! My name is Connor Bean, and I will be joining CSP this upcoming year from Corkran Middle. This will be my third year of teaching, and my first year of teaching high school: I will be teaching Ho/AP Pre-Calc, as well as Practical Programming. I'm a 2024 graduate of Salisbury University, where I completed my undergraduate degree. I can currently be found around Crownsville, though I do spend a lot of the time in the Glen Burnie area. I currently have two rabbits, Maxie (loves people and interactions) and Violet (hides from us like we have the plague unless treats are out). My personal interests include reading, gaming (especially board games), and Jeopardy! I hope to have a great year with you all, and wish you a relaxing last couple of weeks of summer!
Ms. Daoulas
Hello! My name is Ms. Daoulas, and I am excited to join CSP High. I will be teaching Honors English 10 and Creative Writing. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland and my Master of Arts in Producing for Film, TV, and Video from American University.
I live in Edgewater with my spouse, Dimitri, our son, Noah, and our dog, Ziggy. Outside of the classroom, one of my greatest passions is dance. I started dancing when I was five years old and never stopped! Whether it’s hip hop, ballroom, or bachata, I love expressing myself through movement. I’m also a huge classic rock fan, so there’s a good chance you’ll find me enjoying some great music when I’m not teaching.
I look forward to getting to know my students. I’m thrilled to be here and can’t wait for a wonderful year together!
Mr. Dyson
Hello! My name is Mr. Dyson and I am a recent UMBC graduate. I am an Odenton and Gambrills native and AACPS alumni. I’ve been in this area for the majority of my life and I’m happy I can give back to it. I will be teaching Honors Government & AP government for the 2026-2027 school year. I graduated with two Bachelor Degrees (computer science and political science), so my interests and hobbies are pretty varied. I built my first computer at 15 to play the video game Overwatch, which I don’t play anymore, but I still love video games as a whole, especially Nintendo games. I originally attended college simply for Computer Science, but realized I had a love for political science through my coursework. I then took more classes to get a second degree, volunteered as a free tax preparer, and participated in (and won) an economics research project to solve retirement. I love Political Science because it is the study of why people act the way they do and why our world is the way that it is. I think
understanding that is so important, especially today.
I look forward to meeting all of my new students.
Ms. Levithan
Hi everyone! My name is Paige Levithan, and I'm excited to be joining Chesapeake Science Point High School as an Algebra 2 and Statistical Analysis teacher. I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and my master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Arizona State University. I currently live in Baltimore with my miniature poodle, Carrot, who keeps me busy and always makes me laugh. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, crafting, decorating, and spending time with friends and family. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great school year!
Ms. Sto. Tomas
My name is Freda Jean Sto. Tomas, and I am excited to be part of the CSP community!
I have been an educator for 18 years, and each year I continue to learn from everyone around me—my fellow educators and my learners. Teaching has been a rewarding journey because every student and colleague brings new ideas, perspectives, and experiences that help me grow both personally and professionally.

Where I Live - I currently live in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I moved here in 2022 from US Virgin Islands.
My Family - I live with my husband and three kids ages 3, 4, and 6, which means my home is already a very active classroom! I spend my days teaching science at school and answering endless questions at home. My days are filled with lessons, questions, and lots of ‘Why?’ moments and controlled chaos
What I Will Be Teaching
This school year, I will be teaching Chemistry and Exercise Science.
I am looking forward to helping my students learn, explore, ask questions, and discover how science connects to everyday life.
