Varsity Girls Bowling

On Monday, February 7, the Dryden girls bowling team had a meet in New Baltimore versus Merritt Academy. Unfortunately, the girls lost their meet to Merritt Academy, although they worked very hard to earn the points they did. Our highest scoring bowler was Raeshell Richardson, who bowled a 125 in both of her matches. Our second highest bowler was Joanna Livingston, who bowled a 142 in her first match and a 97 in her second match. Great job, girls!

Our second highest bowler was Mikayla Fleming, who bowled a 105 in her first match and a 110 in her second match. The girls’ next bowling meet is on Monday, February 21 at Hideaway Lanes versus Memphis.

On Friday, February 11th, the boys traveled to Genesee. They ended up losing by 10, 65-55. Let's look at the scorers for the Cardinals. Merrick Maris led the boys with 19 points, followed by Dylan Ledford with 15 points. Jacob Burgess has 12 points. Sonny Coscione had 5 points. Jason Blasius and Zack Lemke had 2 points each. After the game, Coach DelCampo had words on the boy's performance. He said, “Give credit to Genesee - they played hard and played well. We lost our patience offensively and that really hurt us." The boy's next game will be at North Huron. Good luck to the boys! Go Cardinals!
