Springmill STEM Staff Update

Principal's Message
Hello STEM team,
Well -- Happy Birthday to Cade! This is day 6, if I'm not mistaken. That means our kids have now missed over a week of school. In our tested grades (3-6), that means we are a week behind in getting them the content and practice they need. It's time to get creative. What are our options for covering the material, providing much needed practice, completing diagnostic assessments, etc in the now 11 weeks we have left before the state tests? Discussions to come in TBTs :) Everyone, please go into the iReady testing schedule and make any necessary adjustments for the snow days. (If you try from your phone, it may have you logged into your personal gmail/email account and won't give you access.)
As I mentioned, I had to take my dog in this morning. As of now, I haven't gotten any word back from the vet. I'm hoping the tests they've done show that they think they can pull her through this. She is older and not in the best health to begin with. She's been with us since she was a pup and the kids grew up with her, so it's a rough situation.
I've got the schedule below. I know kids are going to be wired when they come back... again. Remember, calm voices, plenty of reminders, but maintain your boundaries and expectations! If you give them an inch.... you will be running a marathon before you know it.
See you in the morning!
