August 5, 2026
Welcome to the 2026 - 2027 School Year!
School Begins August 12, 2026
Welcome to the beginning of a new school year at eDCSD Online. Whether you are just joining us or are returning for another year, we are excited to help you continue your learning this year. All students and families, both full time and part time, will receive this communication each week. Please read the information below for information about the start of the school year.
School begins on Wednesday, August 12th. Courses will be available beginning that morning, at 8 AM.
Welcome Letters
If you are enrolled in classes with eDCSD during quarter 1, welcome letters with sign in information and links to important resources will be emailed out on August 5-7, 2026. Please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive it.
Blended Learning Days
Blended Learning Days are our in person days held at 373 Inverness Parkway Suite 207, Englewood, CO 80112.
While at Blended, students will participate in projects and activities to support relationships between the teachers and students as well as peer connections. In addition, all staff including administrators, counselors, tech support, school psychologist, learning coach, learning specialist, and office staff are available to support students with any questions or needs.
Blended Learning is a required element of our program for full time Elementary and Middle School.
High School Blended Learning is highly encouraged but not required for full time high school students.
Blended Learning is NOT required for part time students.
Our first day of Blended Learning for each level are below:
Middle School: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 9 AM - 12:30 PM
Elementary School: Monday, August 17, 2026 9 AM - 12:30 PM
High School: Tuesday, August 18, 2026: 9 AM - 12:30 PM
Virtual Classes
Each week, students should attend their virtual classes. These are live classes held on Google Meets with teachers and the students in their assigned courses.
Use the links below to view the schedule for each level:
Elementary Virtual Class Schedule
Due Date Policy 2026 - 2027
At eDCSD, our goal is to help students develop healthy work habits and time management skills.
Work each week will be assigned on Wednesday morning and will be due the following Tuesday night at 11:59 PM.
For most assignments, students will be able to submit the work for an additional two weeks after the Tuesday night deadline. After an assignment has been open for 3 weeks, the assignment will close and will no longer be available for submission. *There are some exceptions for synchronous assignments such as virtual class activities and PE logs.
We hope that this policy helps to encourage students to work synchronously with the class while still allowing for the flexibility that eDCSD families desire.
Express Check In 2026
K-8, eSTAR, and Base students will complete Express Check-In through their neighborhood school/Primary Line of Enrollment. eDCSD is not included in express check in. Since the neighborhood school is the Primary Line of Enrollment, they will be accepting all new information for 26/27 (address, email, telephone number changes, etc).
For Summit students, eDCSD will email registration paperwork during the first week of school. Once you receive it, please complete it and return via email within 5 days.
All families in all programs will receive an Online Affidavit via email the first week of school. Please complete this and return via email within 5 days. The state requires this form each year of all students who participate in online programming.
All student fees for the 26/27 school year will be added to MySchoolBucks soon. We will update families when fees are visible in MySchoolBucks.
If you do not plan to return to eDCSD for the 26/27 school year, please email ddees@dcsdk12.org.
