Dear Families,
A letter from 4/5 about the food drive:
Dear Community Members,
We, the 4th and 5th grade class, want to thank you so much for all of your generous donations! We really appreciate your kindness and hope that your donations help families and people in need. We know it will make them smile!
As the holidays are coming up, there are still many people who need food, so we’re continuing to collect donations during the holiday season.
We were so happy to see all the donations come in, and we know HOPE will be very excited too!
Thank you again for all your support and for helping make a difference!
Sincerely,
The 4th and 5th Grade Class
Attendance reminder and clarification: Under the new AOE rules, we are no longer able to approve vacations as excused absences unless they have been approved (by me for two days or the Superintendent, if longer than two days) as an alternative educational experience. It is helpful for us to know about all anticipated absences ahead of time. Thanks so much.
Lunch help: Zowee! We are all set for next week!!!! Please look ahead for dates in November and December and email me or sign up directly on the calendar if you can help out.
Please email me cjohnston@acsdvt.org or call if you have any questions (802-545-3301).
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Best, Christina
4/5's food drive for H.O.P.E has been a smashing success
We want to hear from you!
Bridport and Shoreham Grade Configuration Design Feedback
Last fall, Superintendent Baker held meetings with Bridport & Shoreham teachers and families to review student performance data and discuss how best to support greater academic success. This summer a working group of Bridport and Shoreham families formed a working group to help design a K-5 single-grade model at one school for the Board to consider for the 2026-27 year.
We now invite our ACSD community to offer feedback using this community survey which includes an overview of the Working Group’s design. All community feedback will be shared with the ACSD Board on November 10th. The Board will review the final design and all feedback in November to determine the 2026-2027 path forward for Bridport & Shoreham students.
