Happy New Year! We are excited to share that our PIC students have had a bustling start to the year.
Last week, report cards were sent home, and we kicked off the new year with a Popcorn Day. Additionally, Mrs. Tekiela hosted a Winter Back to School Assembly where students reviewed our building-wide expectations.
We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Winter Learning Challenge Raffle: congratulations to Amelia and Ryan!
This week, our students have been actively participating in Winter NWEA Map testing. Reports will be sent home next Friday, January 24th. For your convenience, we have attached the Family Map Growth Guide below, which serves as an additional resource for understanding your child’s progress.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming the Will County K-9 unit for an engaging assembly. A special shoutout goes to Officer Pogose (Aubrey's Dad) for introducing their family police dog, Riggs! The students absolutely loved this interactive experience.
Lastly, a big congratulations to Theo Chapman, who won the PTO raffle to be Principal for the Day yesterday! Theo did an outstanding job leading our school!
As we look ahead, please keep an eye on the weather, as we are expecting more sub-zero temperatures next week.
