AMI Packets in Thursday Folders AMI Packets in Thursday Folders

While we aren't currently expecting any inclement weather in the immediate forecast, we want to ensure our students and families are fully prepared for the winter season ahead. Yesterday. Your student should have brought home an AMI (Alternate Methods of Instruction) packet. If they have not, it will be in this week's Thursday Folder.

What you need to know:

  • Keep it Safe: Please find a safe, designated spot for this packet at home or just leave it in their backpack!!!

  • When to Use It: These materials are only to be used in the event that school is cancelled AND the district declares an official "AMI Day."

  • Notification: If an AMI day is called, the district will notify you via our standard communication channels (text, email, Rooms & MVR3 App and social media).

Our goal is to ensure that learning can continue seamlessly, even when we can't be together in the classroom. Having these physical packets ready at home helps us avoid any technical hurdles during unexpected weather closures.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our students prepared and on track!

Reminders as we return from a two week break: Reminders as we return from a two week break:

Gentle Routine Reset

As we return from winter break, teachers will be taking time to revisit classroom routines, expectations, and procedures. This reset helps students ease back into learning, feel confident, and get re-grounded in their day. A little extra patience and consistency at home and school goes a long way during this transition.

Attendance & On-Time Reminder

Being present and on time each day makes a big difference as we settle back into routines. Thank you for helping your child arrive ready to learn — those steady starts help set the tone for successful days ahead.

Social-Emotional Check-In

Transitions can look different for every child. If your student is feeling a bit off or having a harder time getting back into the groove, please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself, their teacher or our counseling team. We’re here to support the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally.
