December 12th
Principal’s Weekly Update,
As we move deeper into December, the frigid weather has certainly settled in. Please take a moment to remind your students to dress appropriately for the cold—warm coats, hats, and gloves make a meaningful difference, especially during arrival, dismissal, and any time spent outdoors. We want all students to stay safe and comfortable throughout the winter months.
I also ask that families take time to engage in conversations at home about social media use. These discussions are increasingly important as we continue to partner together to support healthy habits, responsible choices, and student well-being. In that same spirit, I want to begin sharing information about an important shift coming next school year: phones will not be allowed for student use during the school day. Students will be expected to put their phones away for the entire school day—just as our middle school students already do. We will share full guidance later in the year, but now is a good time to start discussing expectations with your child.
As the holidays quickly approach, I hope everyone can pause to reflect on kindness, goodness, and looking out for one another.
Stay warm, and thank you for your continued support.
Brenda Erhardt
Principal, PRMHS

To prepare for our market closure, please encourage our guests who have children in your school district, to come and shop with us now up to our closing, to stock up with extra groceries, if needed. Additionally, to help ease the burden of our closure we will also be offering our guests some extra milk, eggs and bread during our Christmas distribution week.
Proud Pentucket Music alum, Jon Hayes ('14), is enjoying tremendous success on the heels of his debut album, Between You and Me. In addition to a special PRMHS performance periods 6 & 7 on December 17th, Jon will be performing at the West Congregational Church in Haverhill on Saturday, December 13th at 6:30pm as part of his upcoming east coast tour.
