Principal's Update
9/4/26
Dear Families,
We welcomed our staff back to campus this week and enjoyed two days filled with teambuilding, collaborating, and setting up for the new year. The building was buzzing with energy and we can’t wait for your children to join us on Tuesday, 9/8! Shout out to our EESPG for a fun event Thursday evening. It was great to see students and families excited for the new year!
Below are some important safety reminders to ensure a smooth transition into the school year.
EES is an allergy aware school. Please read Nurse LaBranche’s Welcome Back Letter and our Allergy Awareness Policy for more health and wellness information.
Please review the map below and follow staff directions for arrival and dismissal through the parking lots. If you have students in K or 1st grade, please use the side parking lot (marked with a pink circle). If you have students in grades 2-5, please use the main entrance (marked with a yellow line). If your family has multiple students across K-5 you may use either entrance. Please DO NOT use the staff lower lot (marked as a red X) to drop off students. This is a safety hazard for students and blocks staff from parking. When dropping off, please follow the flow of traffic and pull all the way up for staff to assist with doors. When possible, students should exit your vehicle directly onto the curbside. Please do not get out of your vehicle while in line. If you need to come into the main office during arrival/dismissal time please park in a designated spot and supervise your student walking across traffic. When possible, please us the side lot off of Fisherman’s Landing to allow for ample staff parking in the front.
Please know that these procedures may take a little longer the first couple weeks of school as students and staff get into a routine. In addition, buses pick up/drop off times may fluctuate. We appreciate your patience and cooperation! Please do not hesitate to reach out to our main office or classroom teachers with any questions. We look forward to a successful year working with your family!
In partnership,
Dillon Falk
