Katherine CROCS Weekly Update

Happy Friday CROCS!

What a great second week of school! Thank you to our attendees at Coffee with the Principal. I look forward to our next one in the Spring!

I wanted to share that I am currently working on procuring umbrellas to provide shade in the TK/K yard and also at our lunch tables that are permanently in the sun. Due to the process, I am hoping to have it completed by the end of September, at the latest. I appreciate your patience! We continue to monitor the weather, encourage students to utilize the shaded areas, and stay hydrated.

We have a 3-day weekend, with no school on Monday. I look forward to seeing everyone's smiles on Tuesday.

What a wonderful response - we need to have an election! Please click on the form below and there will be a paper copy coming home on Monday. Please submit your vote only once, either digitally OR by paper. Thank you!

*This will be the last week I include these links in the newsletter, it is housed on the school website for your access.

A few reminders:

* NO PARKING along the RED curb near the exit of the lot - this is a hazard since drivers can't see on-coming traffic and Simi PD will ticket when they make their rounds.

* DO NOT skip the drop-off/pick-up line along the curb. Our yard supervisor is there to call for your child, if you skip the line, you will skip the call for your child.

* DO NOT leave your car while in the pick-up line.
