Memorial Update

Good Morning Memorial Families,

I hope that you had a terrific weekend! It is hard to believe that we are just a little over a week until vacation. We are still hard at work here in school, completing benchmark assessments in writing, math, and reading that will help our teachers make instructional decisions heading into 2026. We are also sprinkling in some fun events this week as we hold our Spirit Days. Today students and staff will wear Fun Run tshirts- just be sure to layer them on top of another article of clothing as it is VERY cold outside today!

Thank you to the PTO and to all of the families who contributed to the Cookie Craze on Thursday. The spread was amazing and our teachers were certainly spoiled with lots of baked goods and snacks. It is one of our favorite days of the year, and we appreciate all that went into making it happen.

I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays as we head into break in a little over a week. It is a very busy time of year for our families, our students, and our staff, and I know that the break comes just at the right time to be able to relax and reset as we head into a new year. Some things to note:

Next Tuesday (12/23) is a half day early release. Please make arrangements for your children on that day to come home early.
We do not return to school until Monday, January 5th.

Spanish Immersion Parent to Parent Night

NIPMUC YOUTH LACROSSE REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

1. As in years past, insurance is $45 per player, which is a separate fee and non-refundable as it is paid to MYL (it is not a NYL fee).

2. PRE-K/Kindergarten lax is now powered by SCOOPS LAX! We are very excited to be partnering with this local learn-to-lax program. Registration for ages 3-6 will open January 1, 2026.

3. Grades 1-8 register: https://nipmuc.demosphere-secure.com/_registration

4. Pre-season lacrosse will begin in March at Forekicks, Marlboro. Individual coaches will communicate specific times in mid-February. The first weekend of games is April 12, 2026.

We are looking forward to the 2026 Lacrosse season! Go Nipmuc!
