Principal's Message
Greetings KP Community,
As we embark on April break it is vital for everyone to take time to rest, relax and reconnect with friends and family. The quote below resonated with me because our faculty is working so hard to do just that. Our collective goal is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where all students feel safe to bring their whole selves into the school, and where they are free to learn and grow in a nurturing environment.
Have a wonderful April break and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.

ThinkFast Interactive Program coming to KPRHS to Support Safe Teen Driving
Thanks to grant funding provided by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, the Massachusetts State Police has selected KPRHS to be eligible to receive a teen driver safety program this school year designed for junior and senior students. This program is produced by award-winning ThinkFast Interactive (https://thinkfastinteractive.com/). The assembly for 11th and 12th grade students will take place on April 23, 2024 from 9:30 - 10:30 am.
Program Overview: ThinkFast Interactive is an evidence-informed intervention program that offers a comprehensive prevention approach. It utilizes a trivia-based game show format to provide relevant, fact-based information on personal safety issues and messaging, including highway safety and prevention measures specific to Massachusetts teen drivers. The program's experiential nature provides students with "memory hooks," facilitating memory storage and future retrieval, ultimately promoting improved decision-making aligned with targeted safety outcomes. Evaluations of TFI consistently reflect high satisfaction levels among high school audiences and administrators. Additionally, statistically significant improvements in teen attitude, knowledge, perceptions of social norms, and behavior intentions toward safety have been observed.

KP Cares held a Women's Shelter Donation Drive, where KP Cares collected toiletry and skincare products for local women's shelters. We collected pieces of clothing for a new clothing closet where students in need can shop for clothes. Members volunteered at the Plainville Senior Center and Wrentham Elementary Schools to help out with their events. KP Cares is currently holding a drive for essential items for a family that just lost everything to a fire in Plainville.
