Due to the number of snow days during this marking period, the date to publish report cards has been moved from March 20th to March 27th.

On Friday March 20th we are inviting all students and staff to paricipate in World Down Syndrome Day. We are wearing our silliest, most colorful, mismatched socks to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day, officially March 21st.

On Friday, March 13th, Ditson hosted a Community Reader Day with volunteers from the Fire Department, Police Department, EMS, Retired Teachers, and even a Leprechaun reading to our students.

Our DSA sponsored Scholastic Book Fair will happen from March 23rd - March 27th. Your child will visit the book fair during their LITE special and will be accompanied by Mrs. Mari, our LITE teacher.

Volunteers are needed! See below in the DSA corner section for more information.

*New* Event - DSA Event: A Celebration of Us

Join us Tuesday, March 31 (6:00–7:30 PM) for a fun, family cultural sharing night! Families can sign up to host a table in the cafeteria to share posters, artifacts, food, clothing, traditions, and more (up to $30 reimbursement for supplies). This is not a drop-off event—students will visit tables and get their celebration passports stamped.

Sign Your Child Up for the Talent Show! Deadline 4/3/26

Join us for a fun evening celebrating student talents—music, dance, magic, sports demos, comedy, and more—on Friday, April 10 at 6:00 PM at Ditson Elementary. Admission is free (concessions available, cash only). Students who want to perform must register (link here) by Friday, April 3 and attend rehearsal on Thursday, April 9 at 6:00 PM. Each student may perform one act, up to 2.5 minutes, and all acts/music must be committee-approved (no YouTube links for music uploads). Questions: talentshowditson@gmail.com.
