Families,

Every student will be taking the Winter Math MAP (Measure of Academic Progress)! Below you will find the date that each grade level will be taking this assessment. Classroom teachers use the results to determine appropriate changes to instruction to either re-teach or enrich the current standards to meet the needs of each child. Please ensure that students are getting enough sleep the night before and eat breakfast. (Reminder students can eat at school for free from 7.30-8.00am)

Kinder: December 2nd

Thank you for setting your child up for success!! You will receive results during Parent-Teacher conferences in February!

As our kids come to school in layers, I would like to encourage everyone to label jackets, gloves, hats, and coats. Our lost and found is overflowing. If you've noticed that your student's coat hasn't made its way home from school, please ask your student to clean out their locker and/or check the lost and found. Parents, you are welcome to come in during arrival or dismissal to help your students look for missing items.

We will be donating the items on Friday, December 12th, so please come take a look if your student is missing something!

Third City Christian Church has organized Wasmer Christmas (December 15th) again for our students. This event is something the church, our students (past and present), and our staff hold near and dear to our hearts.

Please read the details below:

Before the event: community members can donate items to the school or sign up to serve during the event (setting up or wrapping gifts for our students). If you would like to sign up to volunteer, please use this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C044DA5A72FA0F5C34-60322004-wasmer#/

During the event: each student is able to go shopping for their items, take pictures in a mini photo booth, and have their gifts wrapped.
