Mr. Kuyper Keeps Students Moving Through Play, Activity, and Loads of Fun!
Orchard View is incredibly fortunate to have Mr. Kuyper as our PE instructor. You walk into his gym and the energy is that of children at an amusement park. The students are excited, laughing, and lining up for the next extraordinary activity or game he has planned. Pictured below, students were playing an adapted version of Spider in the Web and listening for the booming sound of Mr. Kuyper as he would exclaim, "Spider in the web!" Students then would have the options of chasing, fleeing, and responding to being tag - the entire game is geared towards increasing positive social interactions.
Ask your children what games are enjoyed in the gym space with our Mr. Kuyper! Chances are, you could replicate many of them at home!

Annual Enrollment Verification for the 2026-27 School Year
All families with returning FHPS students must log in to PowerSchool to verify student information for the 2026-27 school year. This is a required step that helps us plan classes, scheduling, and transportation. For ease of use, we strongly recommend completing this verification process in a web browser on a desktop/laptop rather than in the mobile app. If you need assistance logging in to PowerSchool, please email parentportal@fhps.net. Our school registrar and secretaries can also assist families if you have additional enrollment questions.
