Important Information
A Note About Teacher and Class Placements
Per our Student and Family Handbook, we are unable to honor requests for specific teachers. Our teacher teams work together to create rosters each school year. We are confident in all of our educators and their ability to provide a positive, high-quality learning experience for every student.
Check the Lost & Found Before Items are Donated
Now is the time to check that you have all your winter gear, uniform items, and spring jackets. If you’re missing something, come and check the lost & found before the end of June.
Unclaimed lost & found items from March-May 2026 will be donated at the end of June 2026. Please note that Nova Classical's summer hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Please check in at the front office before heading to the lost and found, smaller items are in the Main Office.
While you’re taking stock of your items, be sure they are clearly labeled with your child’s first & last name or their first initial & last name. Custom labels from Mabel’s Labels or Name Bubbles are super helpful in getting lost items back to your child.
School Supplies for the 2026-2027 School Year
TeacherLists takes our approved back-to-school supply lists and digitizes them into easy-to-use, shoppable lists. Families can quickly find exactly what their student needs and purchase items directly from major retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more—allowing you to shop wherever you prefer and have those items shipped directly to your home for easier student labeling.
Second Grade Medieval Feast
Our Second Grade classrooms put on a medieval feast, bringing history to life with a variety of activities including an introductory skit to the feast and graham cracker castles!
Fifth Grade Penthalon
Students in fifth grade got to experience five events that cross multiple disciplines including playing big base, potting flowers, working with clay magnets, making the tallest paper tower, and making a mousetrap catapult.
Playground Mama Mallard had her ducklings!
In early May, our students discovered a mama mallard under our playground equipment. Students and staff were diligent in protecting the duck and making sure to not disturb her nor her eggs. Low and behold, on June 3rd (very fitting for the last day of school), the baby chicks hatched!
Fifth Grade Sword Tag
In a nod to medieval tradition, fifth graders also participated in the annual Jousting Wars, aka Sword Tag event. Led by Ms. Juedes and the Specialist Teachers, students and staff got to pretend what it would be like competing and battling against other teams using swords-to tag only of course!
