October 3- 1st Grade field trip to Columbia Children's Theatre
October 6- Coffee Cart for Teachers
October 6-8 -CogAT testing 2nd grade only
October 7- PTO Meeting 7:30 AM **** NEW MEETING TIME****
October 8- German club
October 9- Early Dismissal 11:00 AM (make sure front office has any change of transportation in writing)
October 9 and 17 - IOWA testing 2nd grade only
October 10- NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS!
October 13-23 - 2nd Grade Swim! 🏊
October 24- 2nd Grade Field trip to Carnival of the animals.
October 15 - CLASS PICTURES!
October 17- Fall Carnival 5-7 (rain date 10/24)
October 23- Report Cards
November 3-7 - STEM Week!

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES
If your child needs to go home a different way than normal please send a note or email their teacher AND the front office! If the person picking up in car rider or walker line is not on your pick up list, IT HAS TO BE IN WRITING by the parent for them to pick up and you will need to include their name and contact information. Last, but certainly not least, PLEASE do not call a change in after 1:45 and unless their is a doctors appointment or emergency do not do an early pickup after 2:00pm. We want to make sure your child is in the right location to get home safely and avoid confusion. Thank you!
A hard copy of the Rosewood Elementary School /Parent and Student Handbook
was given to each student to bring home
