A Message from Mr. Demers
Dear Families,
It is hard to believe that another incredible school year has come to a close here on 2700 Regional Road. The 2025-2026 school year was filled with remarkable accomplishments, new opportunities, and countless moments that reminded us what makes DRRHS such a special place. Whether in our classrooms, on the athletic fields, on the stage, through our Career & Technical Education programs, or in the many clubs and activities that make our school unique, our students continued to demonstrate that there truly is something for everyone at DRRHS.
As we reflect on this past year, I could not be prouder of all that our students, faculty, staff, and families have accomplished together. From earning our Early College designation and expanding our CTE opportunities to celebrating state-level achievements in academics, athletics, the arts, and student leadership, the positive momentum at DRRHS continues to grow. Every success has been made possible by a community that believes in empowering students, igniting their passions, and shaping them into future-ready graduates.
On a personal note, it continues to be an incredible honor and privilege to serve as Principal of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School. Thank you to our students, families, faculty, staff, and the communities of Dighton and Rehoboth for your unwavering support throughout the year. Your commitment to our school is what makes DRRHS such a special place, and I am excited to continue building on all of the great things happening here as we move into the 2026-2027 school year.
Until then, I hope everyone has the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy a safe, restful, and amazing summer with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another outstanding year at DRRHS.
Have a fantastic summer, Falcons!
With Falcon Pride,
Dustin Demers - Principal DRRHS

Subject: Technology Repair Fees
Dear Families,
We hope this message finds you well. As part of our commitment to maintaining our technology resources, we wanted to inform you about our updated repair fee structure. These fees help us cover the cost of repairs when school-issued devices are damaged due to misuse or carelessness. The fees are divided into three tiers, depending on the extent of the damage. These fees will appear on your child’s My School Bucks Account.
Level 1
Charger, Cover (top or bottom), Touchpad, etc.
$40
Level 2
Keyboard, Monitor
$75
Level 3
Total Loss/Replacement
$300
We encourage students to handle their devices with care to avoid any damage and the associated costs. If a device does require repair, the appropriate fee will be communicated to you along with the steps to resolve the issue.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support in keeping our technology in great condition! If you have any questions or concerns, please email the IT Department (emails are listed below).

CTE Corner
Carpentry II
We ended this school year with a very touching project. Brody Araujo wanted to help Hasbro Children's Hospital by building a beautiful bench with his teacher, Mr. Gouveia and two classmates Christopher Heath and Louis Kent. Brody is a 10th-grade Carpentry II student who wanted to support his sister, Hailey-Jade, a Child Life Specialist at the hospital.
Each year, the Child Life Department hosts Camp Dotty, a summer day camp for pediatric oncology patients and their siblings. The camp is funded through The Tomorrow Fund and provides children who are unable to attend traditional summer camps due to complex medical needs with a fun and supportive summer experience at no cost to their families.
Each year, they receive generous support from community members and local organizations through donated lunches, activities, and special projects for the campers. One tradition we have during camp is creating a meaningful item, such as a wooden bench or chair, that the children can paint with handprints and designs throughout the week. The completed piece is then auctioned at The Tomorrow Fund Gala, which raises funds to continue supporting pediatric patients and families emotionally and financially throughout treatment.
We are all very proud of this project and the students that made it possible. Thank you Brody, Christopher, Louis and Mr Gouveia for all your hard work.

Standardized Testing
August and Fall SATs now open to register!
SAT® registration is now open for fall 2026. Many colleges require or consider SAT scores as part of their holistic admission and placement decisions, and your score is a great way to show colleges you’re ready. This year, it will be more convenient to take the SAT on your schedule, with dates available every month through the end of the year, beginning in August, and the ability to join the Waitlist if the date or test center you prefer is already filled.
Most juniors take their first SAT in the spring, and many take it again in the fall of their senior year to improve their score. The SAT can help you keep your college options open, demonstrate your unique strengths, and even qualify for scholarships. And with 100% free practice resources, now including enhanced tailored practice based on your prior test scores and free small-group tutoring, you’ll have everything you need to get prepared.
