Cardinal Families,

Happy Friday!

It’s hard to believe the first quarter is already wrapping up—our students have been working hard, and we’re excited to celebrate their successes in the coming weeks.

We will hold our First Quarter Awards Assembly on Monday, October 19th at 8:00 AM during Cardinal Chatter. These will be nontraditional awards that recognize students for their character, effort, and leadership. Teachers will contact you directly if your child will be receiving an award and invite you attend.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are right around the corner on Thursday, October 29th. Conference times went home last week—please take a moment to look them over and contact Leslie in the office if you have any questions or need to make changes. We look forward to visiting with you about your child’s progress!

Please note that school will not be in session from October 30th. Students will return to school on Monday, November 2nd.

We’re also excited to host Muffins with Mom on Tuesday, October 27th from 7:00–8:00 AM in the gym. That same week, our Book Fair will be open in the Library. Students may shop after school with a parent or during Muffins with Mom.

School Climate & Culture Survey

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Your district is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. Results from this survey will be used for the school improvement review during the 2026-2027 academic year. As part of this process, parents, students, and school employees are asked to voluntarily answer surveys regarding programs and services available to students.

Please take a few minutes to answer the survey at the link provided. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will be included in a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts.

If you have more than one child in school, please complete a survey for each child. The surveys will be processed so that school officials receive reports about each building in the district.

The questionnaires contain demographic and opinion questions. You have the option not to respond to any item or not to complete a survey at all.
