Do I need to keep my child off school?

Class 2 and Class 3 enjoyed their visit to a Gurdwara in Hull. They could see first-hand significant aspects of the Sikh religion and learn new knowledge. We'd like to thank our children for the respect shown.

In order to further strengthen our federation, we have taken the decision to alter the leadership structure.

We are sure you will join us in welcoming Miss Charley Metcalfe on to the Senior Leadership Team and Miss Tracey Shier as Deputy Headteacher across the federation.

We'd also like to wish Miss Nicola Hoffman our very best wishes as she is leaving the Sledmere School to undertake teaching training at Molescroft Primary School in autumn. We wish Miss Hoffman the very best of luck and would like to thank her for all her work across the federation.

We'd are now able to confirm the class structure as follows:

• Class 1/2: Miss Watti (Early Years/ Key Stage 1 Leader - Wetwang), Mrs Buckton, Mrs Hadland and Mrs Bollon (part-time) - FS1, FS2, Year 1 and 2.
• Class 3: Miss Metcalfe and Mrs Garland-Collins - Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.

We are also pleased to retain the superb teaching of Chris Wood with PE/ after-school sports; Céline Ruzé for Modern Foreign Languages and Hull FC sports coaches for additional PE support in Class 1.

We are able to share the term dates for the upcoming academic year 2024/2025.
