Dear Parents and Carers,
As another busy term draws to a close, it feels like the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks for all that we have shared together.
Over the past weeks, our community has come alive with moments of laughter, creativity, and togetherness. The discos were filled with energy and excitement, with music, dancing, and smiling faces creating memories that will be talked about long after the lights went down. Our craft day offered a creative space, where imagination flourished and everyone took pride in what they made. The movie afternoon gave us a chance to slow down, sit side by side, and simply enjoy being together, sharing laughter, and quiet moments in our comfy clothes.
Our church service was a particularly special time of reflection. It brought us together in gratitude, reminding us of the values that underpin our community including kindness, respect, and care for one another. It was a meaningful way to pause and recognise how fortunate we are.
As we end the term, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who makes this community such a wonderful place to be. Whether through organising events, offering support, or simply showing up with positivity and warmth, each person plays a part in creating the strong sense of belonging we are so grateful for.
I’d like to thank you for the opportunity to put things right, for raising your concerns directly so that we can address them. Our staff work incredibly hard and want the best for your children. We are grateful for the opportunity to explain any decisions you may not agree with, even if we don’t change them.
We finish this term feeling thankful, proud, and connected. We hope the break ahead brings rest and happiness, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another term filled with shared experiences and new memories.
With gratitude and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas,
Mel Walmsley

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the school and parents for all your support this year. We’re delighted to say that we’ve raised a whopping £6,048.34 in 2025.
These funds have helped create wonderful opportunities for the children and supported those thoughtful touches that make their school experience special, including the welcome teddy bears for our new reception class. And we’re not stopping there. We’ve got plenty of exciting fundraising events lined up for 2026!
