Parent Connection

DeSales 5th grader AJ Pytlik has requested a special Dress Down Day to benefit Wings of Hope, an organization that holds a special place in her heart. Wings of Hope supported the family of one of AJ’s racing friends during a time of need, and AJ wanted to find a way to give back while honoring her friend’s memory. AJ shared that her friend was someone who always showed kindness, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm, and she hopes this Dress Down Day will help carry that same spirit forward while supporting other families in need.

On Friday, September 11, 2026 students and faculty may dress out of uniform in their favorite Buffalo Bills gear or red, white and blue for a donation of $1 or more. All proceeds raised will benefit Wings Flights of Hope based out of Orchard Park, NY. The mission of Wings Flights of Hope Inc. is to help people in need of free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes.

Back-to-school night will be September 24th at 6:00 pm. This is an informational evening for the parents and caregivers of DeSales students. More details coming soon!
