💬 A Note from Mrs. Grace
Dear Spradley Families,
As we move through this season, we want to pause and express our heartfelt gratitude to our entire Spradley community. Thank you to our students for their curiosity and hard work, to our families for their ongoing partnership and support, and to our staff for their unwavering dedication each and every day.
We are truly grateful for the kindness, collaboration, and commitment that make our school such a special place. Together, we continue to grow, learn, and create an environment where every student can thrive.
Thank you for all you do, your support makes a difference, and we appreciate you more than words can express.
With Spradley Pride,
Principal Grace

Together We Champion
Students are using vertical boards to explore characters’ motivations and behaviors within a text. This hands-on approach encourages deeper thinking, collaboration, and meaningful discussion. Together we champion strong literacy practices that help our students develop as thoughtful, analytical readers.
It’s hard to hide that Spradley Pride!💙
Together We Cultivate
Officer King visited our 1st grade classes this week to share a fairy tale read-aloud, bringing joy and excitement to our students. His presence on campus extends far beyond safety—he actively builds positive relationships and contributes to the strong sense of community that defines Spradley. Our students always look forward to his visits, and we are grateful for the partnership and support he provides.
It’s hard to hide that Spradley Pride!💙
Together We Empower
At Spradley, we believe in empowering every student to grow not only academically, but also as kind, confident, and responsible individuals. We love that our Specials teams consistently help build strong character by encouraging positive choices, and recognizing grade level classes for their hard work and leadership. Their dedication helps create a learning environment where students feel valued, motivated, and proud of who they are becoming.
This commitment reflects the heart of Spradley Pride
It’s hard to hide that Spradley Pride!💙
Together We Prosper
The tradition of Grandparents and Special Friends Day is one that truly highlights the heart of our community. It is always amazing to see families, friends, and loved ones come together to celebrate the important role these special guests play in our students’ lives. Watching our school filled with generations of support, joy, and connection is a beautiful reminder of the strong community that surrounds our students each day.
Thank you to all the grandparents and special friends who joined us—you help make our school the extraordinary place it is. Together, we prosper!

💡 Family Tip of the Week
Take some time this week to unplug from technology and reconnect with the people who matter most. Set aside a “tech-free hour” where everyone puts away phones, tablets, and screens. Use the time to play a board game, cook a favorite recipe together, go for a walk, or simply talk about your day.
These small moments create lasting memories and strengthen family bonds. Try it—you may be surprised by how much everyone enjoys the break!
🔔 Reminders
Reminder for Carpool Families
We kindly ask all families who participate in carpools to promptly communicate any dismissal changes with everyone in their carpool group. Changes in transportation plans can impact multiple students, and when families are not informed, students may be left waiting in the front office.
Recently, we have had several students remain at school past 3:30 p.m. because their carpool partners were unaware that they needed to pick them up. This not only causes stress for the students involved, but also prevents staff from attending scheduled meetings and fulfilling responsibilities after school hours.
Please help us keep dismissal safe, smooth, and timely by ensuring all changes are shared with your entire carpool group. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support!
