Month of the Military Child

However, every Thursday, we invite our students and staff to wear purple, in recognition of the month and of our many students from military families.
2026-2027 Scheduling Updates for Current 8th Grade Parents
As of today, high school counselors have met with all current 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to review course requests for the 2026–2027 school year. April 30 is the absolute final deadline to make any changes to course requests for the 2026–2027 school year. Please refer to the SCHEDULE CHANGE CALENDAR for additional details.
At this time, parents and students should:
Review course requests in PowerSchool to ensure accuracy.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to your school counselor.
Clinical Corner
April is stress awareness month. The definition of stress is how your brain and body responds to changes and challenges. Stress serves a purpose by helping us be alert and aware of danger, but too much can definitely be harmful. Here are some signs you might be stressed:
Headaches, stomachaches, racing heart
Difficulty sleeping or having nightmares
Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
Worsening of chronic and mental health decisions
Changes in appetite, energy, or interests
Here are some healthy ways to manage stress:
Nutrition plays a big role, so try and eat healthy
Connect with others, this helps us get out of worry mode
Talk to a doctor or mental health professional
Try and do something fun
Spend time with a pet if you have one
Help someone else/volunteer
