Students will be dismissed on Wednesday, November 26th at 11:55 a.m. School will remain closed for the remainder of the week and will resume on Monday, December 1st. We wish everyone an enjoyable holiday and a restful extended break.

When a student is absent from school, it is very important that parents notify the school to excuse the absence. If possible, please let us know in advance when your child will be away. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you contact the office within 24 hours to provide an excuse.

Additionally, students should check out through the office when leaving for an appointment and check back in upon their return. This process helps us ensure accurate attendance and maintain a safe, supportive environment for all students throughout the school year.

Students have the opportunity to be exempt from semester exams when they meet the established requirements. Please remember that exam exemptions are a privilege, not a right. We encourage you to review the requirements outlined in the attached information. Additionally, please take note of the guidelines regarding which types of medical absences do not count as days/hours absent.

All school districts in Michigan are required to share the Sexual Harassment and Information Guide with students in grades 6-12. I have attached the information guide as and some additional informaton including the districts Title IX coordinator information and specific school policies related to sexual harassment and sexual assault.
