The
π Good Evening, Willard Families!
What an incredible week it's been! A HUGE thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who showed up Friday to help kick off our Read-A-Thon β your energy and dedication means so much to our scholars and staff! And let's talk about the highlight of the day... we were treated to a visit from some absolutely adorable, furry friends (picture below)! πΎ Safe to say, our readers were extra motivated!
Looking ahead, we are SO excited to invite ALL families β current and future Willard families alike β to join us for our Willard PTA Town Hall this Wednesday! Come connect, ask questions, share ideas, and be a part of the magic that makes our community so special. We'd love to see every one of you there!
A quick but important reminder as we head into these chilly, windy days: even without snow on the ground, our scholars will still be heading outside as long as the Real Feel is above 20Β°F. Please make sure your student is bundled up with a hat, gloves, and a warm coat so they can enjoy the fresh air comfortably and safely! βοΈπ§€
Thank you for being the most wonderful community β we are so grateful for each and every one of you. We cannot wait to see all our scholars bright and early tomorrow! See you then! π
Best,
AP Ernvall

We're excited to announce the return of Black SonRISE for a new session! Our five-week program kicks off on April 11th, and this year's theme is "EVERYTHING COMMUNICATES."
Throughout the program, Risers will explore the many ways we communicate β from how we present ourselves to how we connect with others. They'll learn to craft and deliver effective arguments, discover inspiring communicators throughout history who look like them, and practice engaging meaningfully with their peers.
The program is completely FREE, though space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. For more information, reach out to us at jbrownleejr@yahoo.com.
A flyer with full program details is below β please feel free to pass it along to any other interested parents and caregivers. We can't wait to see your Risers!
