Cougar Communication
Sunday, October 4th
Kessler families,
This week we finally get to celebrate our Groundbreaking on Wednesday at 530. I hope you all can join us for our ceremony. This event is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Please join us for snacks and speeches from Superintendent Weltz, Callie Aschim, GoldenEagle/Swank, Mosaic Architecture, and Kessler School.
This is a kid friendly event and we want our students to enjoy this big milestone. Students must be supervised by their grown ups as we will be hosting this event in the construction site. Parking will be available east of the SE construction entrance and in our front lot. Please avoid parking on Granite.
We can't wait to celebrate with you!

NEXT WEEK IS WINDBAG NIGHT!
What a fantastic Sunday! It was so wonderful seeing so many familiar and friendly faces at the HEF Carnival. A huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing parent volunteers who helped run the booth, and to every family who came by for a snow cone. Every single bite helped raise funds that go directly right back into supporting our kids and Kessler through the Kessler Parent Partnership (KPP)!
Looking for another easy (and delicious!) way to support KPP? Mark your calendars for Monday, October 5th for KPP Night at The Windbag!
- The Details: 20% of all food and non-alcoholic drink sales for the night will go directly to KPP!
- How it Works: It couldn't be simpler—no secret passwords, coupons, or mentioning KPP required. Just bring your appetite, enjoy a great meal, and let someone else handle the cooking and dishes for the night.
Join Us for Our Next KPP Meeting! 🏫✨
· We are so excited to invite you to our second Kessler Parent Partnership meeting of the 2026–2027 school year!
· Come hang out with fellow parents, connect with our awesome school community, and help us keep the momentum going into the fall semester. Whether you've been to every meeting or this is your very first one, we’d love to have you there—your ideas, energy, and voice make all the difference!
- When: Tuesday, October 6th at 6:00 PM
- Where: Kessler School Library
What’s on the Agenda?
We’ve got a fantastic (and fun!) lineup of things to discuss for the fall season, including:
- Planning our upcoming Trunk or Treat celebration
- Supporting our teachers for fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
- Brainstorming for future events and fundraising
What is the Kessler Parent Partnership (KPP)?
We are a group of passionate parents who meet on the first Tuesday of every month to support our amazing students, teachers, and families, making Kessler Elementary the best it can possibly be.
We need YOU, Kessler parents! Whether you want to share fresh ideas or just stay in the loop, we’d love for you to join us. Our wonderful board (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) is always looking to welcome new faces.
KPP fits easily into your schedule! Our monthly meetings last about an hour, and any extra involvement is entirely up to you. We share various volunteer opportunities and projects throughout the year so you can pick what matches your interests and availability. Whether you can spare just an hour or want to dive in deeper, we’d love to have you on board!
Look What We Accomplished Together Last Spring!
Before we jump into new adventures, take a quick peek at the amazing impact your support made happen just last semester:
- Stocked classrooms with fresh materials, including brand-new books for KinderSprouts and sensory bins for Kindergarten.
- Treated our incredible teachers and staff to delicious catered lunches during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
