The Principal's Corner

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Picture Day, Smiles & Attendance ❤️📸

Picture Day was such a fun day around our school! I loved seeing our students dressed up, smiling, and excited to have their pictures taken. Those little moments of excitement are some of the things that make being part of our school family so special. And, as always, attendance seems to be at its best on Picture Day! 😊📸

As parents, we know there are times when it can be difficult to decide whether your child should stay home or is well enough to attend school. Please know that your child’s health and safety are always important to us—but so is their education.

Every day of school matters. When students are absent, they miss classroom instruction, discussions, activities, and opportunities to learn alongside their classmates.

We appreciate our parents working with us to find the right balance and for partnering with us to support your child’s health, attendance, and education. 🦁

📚 First Quarter Midterm

It is hard to believe, but 1st Quarter Midterm is next Friday!

These grade notifications are one of the best tools for parents because they provide a quick snapshot of where your child is academically. Take a few minutes to look over the grades with your child and talk about what they are doing well and where they may need to put in a little extra PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In Daily Efforts).

If you have questions about a grade or an assignment, please reach out to the teacher. We want you to stay informed and be a part of your child’s success! 🦁

IMPORTANT DATES

  • September 18-1st Quarter MidTerm

  • September 19-Pig-N-Pickle

  • September 21- No School
