Our Beliefs

Secondary Administrators

Our secondary school administrators do an outstanding job leading with integrity, energy, and care for students and staff. They create a safe and supportive learning environment, guide teachers with encouragement and resources, and keep students focused on academic growth and future goals. By balancing high expectations with strong relationships, they help ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed in the classroom and beyond. We are grateful for their leadership and the positive impact they make every day at McDade ISD.

Mrs. Sanders Everything Curriculum, Testing and TIA

Our district is lucky to have Mrs. Sanders as our Curriculum Director and Testing Coordinator who works hard behind the scenes to make learning the best it can be. As the Curriculum Director she helps teachers with lessons and resources so students can learn in fun and meaningful ways. As the Testing Coordinator she makes sure all of our important tests are well organized, easy to understand, and give students the chance to show what they know. Mrs. Sanders supports teachers, families, and students—helping every child succeed!

Elementary Administration and Special Services!

Our elementary school administrators are doing an amazing job creating a warm, welcoming environment where young learners can thrive. They support teachers with guidance and encouragement, keep families connected through open communication, and ensure that students feel safe, cared for, and ready to learn each day. Their leadership helps build a strong foundation for future success, and we are grateful for the positive difference they make in the lives of our students and staff.

Public school counselors play an essential role in helping students grow and succeed. They support academic achievement, guide students in setting goals for the future, and provide encouragement during challenges. Counselors also help students build strong character, develop healthy friendships, and make positive choices. They work side by side with teachers and families to ensure every child feels supported, understood, and ready to succeed. At McDade ISD, we are thankful for our counselors and the many ways they make a difference in the lives of our students every day!

🎉 A few highlights to celebrate:

McDade ISD is the highest ranked school in Bastrop County!
We've started the year strong with an average daily attendance rate of over 94%!! Let's keep it going, team!
Our next school board meeting is on September 16, 2025 in the Elementary Cafeteria.
Volleyball, Football, Cross Country, Marching Band and Ag competitions are well under way. Come on out and support our kids, coaches and parents who have dedicated their time to building great leaders.
