Mission Statement

As a Catholic community of faith, the mission of Saint John Nepomuk Catholic School is to model the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ and the principles of the Catholic Church. We are committed to the education and development of life-long learners and leaders.

Friday 10/31: All Saints Dress up

"Saintly Choices - Drug Free Voices"
Dress as your favorite saint — someone who made holy, courageous, and virtuous choices. Let their life inspire you to say “no” to drugs and “yes” to God’s path!

Our middle school handbells have been working hard at their rehearsals and are ready to play at Mass. However, there’s not enough room in our choir space for our handbells and choristers.

So here is an updated schedule:

Oct. 29 – all choristers attend rehearsal

Oct. 31 – all choristers attend/sing for Mass (choristers dressing as a saint will not wear a choir robe)

Nov. 5 & 12 rehearsals: Middle School choristers ONLY; rehearsal ends at 4:00 pm.

Nov. 7 & 14 Masses: Middle School choristers ONLY

Nov. 19 – all choristers attend rehearsal

Nov. 21 – all choristers attend/sing for Mass

December rehearsals and Masses as usual (Mass Dec. 8 for the Holy Day instead of Dec. 12; regular rehearsal Dec. 10)

Looking ahead:

Sunday, Jan. 25, 10:30 am Mass – choristers will sing for this Mass as we begin Catholic Schools Week.

Basketball is for students 2nd-8th grades. Charges will be added using FACTS after teams have been made.

Please put money on your Lunch/Aftercare "prepay" accounts. We have several families who have not put money on their account.

*If your Lunch/Aftercare balances get too high, students will need to bring a lunch from home and may not attend Aftercare.

Parent Volunteer Sign-up

Parents, once a month we will need assistance cleaning and organizing the Uniform Closet, STEM Lab, and the Lost & Found. Slots are organized by each location for the first, second, and third Fridays of the month. Please put the time you will be able to come to the building to assist in the comments section. Thank you so much for your help!

We will try to send out other sign ups (Thanksgiving Lunch, Field Day, Etc.) when the events get closer.

Last year's yearbooks will be given to students tomorrow, October 31st!

We are raising money for safety improvements, playground equipment, and materials for our new elective courses next year.

PK4 will be doing an "All Saints Parade" on October 31st, at 3pm in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend!

Food for families will be held on Saturday, November 15th, from 8:00-12:00 in the parking lot in front of the school. Last year we collected over 2000 lbs. of food. We would love to beat that total this year.

Please bring food donations to the school office between November 10th-14th. The Knights will be taking donations on November 15th.
