Dear Families,

To help our school days run as smoothly as possible, we need your partnership in helping students build a simple but vital daily routine: charging their Chromebooks fully at home every single night.

When students arrive with a fully charged device, they can jump right into morning activities without distraction or stress. Developing this habit now also helps our students build independence, responsibility, and strong organizational skills that will benefit them well beyond the classroom.

A helpful strategy that works well for many families is setting up a designated "charging station" at home or establishing a reminder alarm on a phone at bedtime.

Thank you so much for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership as we work together to set our students up for success each day!

Lunch Survey Lunch Survey

We are committed to providing students with a positive and enjoyable dining experience. As part of our ongoing effort to support the needs of our school community, we are partnering with Whitsons Culinary Group to gather feedback on our foodservice program. We invite students, families, faculty, and staff to participate in a brief survey and share their experiences and perspectives. Your feedback will help us better understand what is working well and identify opportunities to further enhance our meal program.

Take the Survey: https://xmp.insight-surveys.com/s/fall-2026

Your input will help us:

• Assess satisfaction with our current food service program

• Enhance the meal experience for students, families, and staff

• Enhance the overall dining experience throughout our schools

The survey will be available from October 26 through November 6 and should take only a few minutes to complete. Responses will be collected by Whitsons and shared with our school administration as we work together to continuously improve the program. We encourage everyone who participates in our school meal program to take part. Your feedback is important and greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us create the best possible dining experience for our school community.

New Information New Information

  • The Board of Education of Mundelein Elementary School District 75 is committed to ensuring all students have access to educational and co-curricular opportunities. To support this goal, the district will waive all school fees and fines required for participation if a student’s parent or guardian qualifies for assistance. To be considered for a waiver of registration and beginning-of-year fees, returning families must submit their application by October 15, 2026.

Applications submitted after this date will apply only to future fees. New families have 30 days from their student’s first day of school to apply; if approved within that window, registration fees may be waived. After the 30-day period, assistance may still be requested, but it will only apply to future fees.

Applications for fee waivers are available online at the Financial Assistance page. To apply, families must complete the required application. Once completed, forms may be dropped off at the Mundelein Elementary School District 75 Office, located at 470 N. Lake Street, Mundelein, IL 60060.

If you prefer to schedule an appointment, please contact District 75 Registrar Patty DeLozier at (847) 949-2700, extension 2014.
