Seniors who would like a tux and drape AND cap and gown pictures should schedule an appointment here.

A yearbook-only photography session will be held on Thursday, November 6th for any senior who has not yet been photographed for the yearbook. Click here to sign your Senior up for this session. During this session, students will have their tux and drape as well as their cap and gown photos taken. Please note: this session is for the yearbook only — there will not be an option to purchase these photos.

If you’re a senior at a North Carolina public high school with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or above, and you meet the NC College Connect requirements (more on that below), you are automatically admitted to select North Carolina colleges and universities. Eligible students will see a tailored list of colleges and universities in their CFNC portal, reflecting the institutions to which they have been offered admission. Please see attached website for more information! Eligible students received a letter in the mail!

What is the FAFSA?

The FAFSA is the form students need to fill out in order to be considered for federal financial aid each year to help make paying for college more manageable.

PLEASE remind students to check ParentSquare/StudentSquare DAILY and have notifications on for announcements from Carson Guidance for the senior group. We will post all updates in the SENIOR GROUP regarding scholarships, college, career, military, graduation, etc.

Counselors are in the process of meeting with all seniors throughout the months of September and October to go over post-secondary plans.
