Winter Prayer

Dear God,
Thank You for January days,
For chilly noses and snowy plays.
For fluffy coats and hats so tight,
And warm hot cocoa every night.

Thank You for school and friends we meet,
For kind words shared and hands so sweet.
Help us be patient, brave, and fair,
And show Your love everywhere.

When it’s cold and dark outside,
Help Your light in us to shine bright.
Keep us safe, happy, and kind,
In our words, our hands, our minds.

Thank You, God, for winter fun,
And for loving everyone.

This year’s Read-A-Thon will run from January 19 to February 6. We will kick off the event with a special assembly in the gym, which will coincide with Storybook Character Day and an opportunity for students to read alongside their faith buddies.

Encourage daily routines that include some “unplugged” time—no screens or devices. This helps children manage stress, build focus, and develop creativity while giving them a predictable structure that supports emotional well-being.

SES is welcoming Linda Alberg and her Companion Dog Daisy to our Seton community every Wednesday morning. Daisy is a Cockapoo Poodle cross who loves spending time with children. She is a calm and loving dog, and we are thrilled to have her join our Seton Family. Daisy will join us in the library to help provide affection, comfort and support to our students, while also developing skills in self-regulation, decreasing stress and anxiety, increasing communication skills and promoting positive interactions.

Lunches will be offered on Fridays to accommodate the alternating Kindergarten classes.

A few reminders about Healthy Hunger:

• There are no weekly reminder emails to remind you what you ordered - but you can always sign into your account to check
• The system will send a reminder email ONLY if you have NOT placed an order
• Ordering for Hot Lunches closes 5 days prior to the lunch date, orders cannot be refunded or changed once the deadline has passed

While our school buses are almost always on time, the winter months and snowy road conditions can lead to delays for your child’s school bus. To stay notified of your child’s bus status, please see the following links for ways to check on bus times. The App has been refreshed and is now called Bus Status 4. Please reinstall the app if you still have the older version.
