Estimadas familias de James John,
Sólo como recordatorio, mañana viernes 13 de octubre no habrá clases.
La próxima semana será una semana emocionante para nuestra comunidad. Tenemos el día de las fotografías el martes. El miércoles celebraremos el Día Internacional del Walk and Roll. (Si se une a nosotros, nos reuniremos en el Centro Comunitario a las 7:30 am y luego caminaremos y rodaremos hasta la escuela). Conéctese y únase a nuestra reunión de la PTA, el jueves por la tarde a las 6:00 p. m.
Novedad la próxima semana: Hora de Chocolate el jueves 19 de octubre. Padres Latinos, únanse con nosotros de 2:45 a 3:30 p. m., tendremos Zumba durante 15 minutos y luego una sesión de preguntas e ideas sobre cómo se puede compartir la comunicación con nuestra PTA y otros comités.
Por último, el gran shakeout de Oregón será el jueves. Les pido a las familias que compartan con sus hijo/as que este evento es un simulacro de práctica de evacuación por terremoto. Cualquier ayuda para calmar los nervios de los estudiantes el día o la noche antes del evento ayudará a que los niños se sientan seguros mientras practicamos el ejercicio.
Eso es todo por ahora, que tengáis un relajante fin de semana de tres días.

Dear James John Families,
Just as a reminder, there will be no school tomorrow, Friday October 13th.
Next week will be an exciting week for our community. We have Picture Day onTuesday. On Wednesday we will celebrate International Walk and Roll Day. (If you are joining us, we will be meeting at the Community Center at 7:30am, then walking and rolling to school.) Get connected and join our PTA meeting, Thursday evening at 6:00 pm.
New this coming week - Hora de Chocolate on Thursday, October 19th. Padres Latinos, join us from 2:45 - 3:30pm, we will be having Zumba for 15 minutes and then a question and idea session about how communication can be shared with our PTA and other committees.
Lastly, the Great Oregon Shakeout will be on Thursday. I ask families to please share with your kiddos that this event is an earthquake evacuation practice drill. Any help in settling student nerves the day or night before the event will help kiddos feel safe while we practice the drill.
