Late Arrival or Early Check Out
Reminder: That 3 tardies OR 3 early check-outs equal an absence.
Please make sure to get your child to school by 8:40 AM. Teachers begin their teaching first thing in the morning and to make sure your child is not missing essential learning it is very important for them to be on time. Students arriving after 8:40 are tardy and must be checked in at the kiosk by an adult.
We do ask if you have to check your child out early to do that NO later than 3:00. We start transitioning to dismissal areas and students are in hallways or common areas.
O.S. 70§10-106, Section 387, School Laws of Oklahoma
If a child is absent without valid excuse four (4) or more days or parts of days within a four week period or is absent without valid excuse for ten (10) or more days or parts of days within a semester, the attendance officer shall notify the parent, guardian, or custodian of the child and immediately report such absences to the District Attorney in the county wherein the school is located for juvenile proceedings pursuant to Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
