Dear Cole Manor Families,
It is my pleasure to share that on Monday, May 19th, the Cole Manor Kitchen will officially be open! I am excited to share that this new space is complete and ready for business! The space is a beautiful , modern facility which has added a great deal to our building. I would like to take a moment to thank everyone involved in this project which has resulted in an amazing new space for our students, staff and families. A special thank you to our entire kitchen staff! Mrs. Kathy DePaul, our amazing Kitchen Manager, kept our cafeteria up and running everyday while we were under construction. Jessica Wells, George Fairel, & Peggy Flowers completed this awesome team. Thank you also to Mr. Bryan Allen, our building engineer who supported the project & the daily adjustments needed. Their efforts ensured our students continued to have uninterrupted lunches during the entire project. We also want to thank Mr. Dormer and our board for their approval of this project, Mr. Cardwell and the CM3 Team for planning such an amazing space and Mrs. Melia, our Food Service Director for her support. I want to also acknowledge and thank the Cole Manor staff for their amazing flexibility as we were under construction, and a special shout out to Mr. Velasquez as he adjusted his PE program ensuring the students still had a quality program while the gym was not available. The entire team worked together and we are thrilled with the results. :)
