Hope you enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend. It was a welcome break from all of that rain that makes Portland so beautiful.
We are in for a busy week! It is the last week to order holiday decor in support of the school garden.
If you purchased a pie to help support the Walk & Roll Committee, thank you! There are a few still available if you missed out! They will be available this Wednesday for pick up in the front hall after school till 5:30.
On Thursday, Dine Out at Atlas Pizza on Foster before you head over to the OBOB information night in the cafeteria at 6 pm.
Friday starts with the annual Ruby Bridges Walk & Roll to School Day and is capped off by the Shu Ren Gala. This fun and delicious evening raises funds for the MIP students at Woodstock, Harrison Park, and Cleveland.
We are over the halfway point in our No Stuff Fundraiser! This is our biggest fundraiser of the school year! Through your generous donations, the PTA is able to help fund field trips, classroom materials, staff appreciation support, and more!

Volunteer With Us!
Volunteers Needed for the Woodstock Elementary Book Fair
The Woodstock Elementary Library Book Fair is happening November 17-25th and it can't happen without volunteers helping set up before the book fair, working the cash registers during the book fair, and helping break down after the book fair. If there are not enough volunteers for conference days (Monday 11/24 and Tuesday 11/25), then the Book Fair will not be open. Please sign up if you can!
The Woodstock PTA No Stuff Fundraiser Gathering Steam!
Thank you for raising $8,351 so far!
We are past the halfway mark to our $15,000 goal! We can't stop now though. Here's how you can help us get across the finish line:
donate $10: help make staff appreciation week happen
donate $25: contribute to library resources
donate $50: help make afterschool programs more accessible
donate $75: help our teachers supplement classroom materials
donate $150: help rent a bus for field trips
Spread the word! Tell family, friends, and neighbors
Bottle Drop Match Event November 15th through December 2nd!
Starting on Saturday November 15th through December 2nd, Bottle Drop Give will match 20% of the funds collected via can and bottle donations. Please bring your Blue Bags to any bag drop location within this time frame and earn Woodstock a little more money for school events. Think you don't have enough cans on your own? See if you can get a can collection going with friends who feel the same way or reach out to neighbors. Every little bit helps! Need more bags? Stop by the office and grab a couple.

Ruby Bridges StoryWalk
Let's celebrate and learn about Ruby Bridges with a StoryWalk featuring the book I Am Ruby Bridges. A StoryWalk is a fun, educational, and interactive way for children (and readers of all ages) to enjoy reading a story outside. The Ruby Bridges StoryWalk is currently displayed on the fence around Woodstock's playground and soccer field. Stop by to read the book and help celebrate Ruby Bridges Walk and Roll to School Day on Friday, November 14.
Ruby Bridges Walk & Roll to School Day
Woodstock families are invited to walk and roll to school on Friday, November 14 to celebrate Ruby Bridges Walk and Roll to School Day. Students will learn more about Ruby Bridges at the Friday Morning Meeting. Stickers and bookmarks will be shared with students at the Friday morning meeting.
Share your input on the SE 60th/62nd Neighborhood Greenway Route
PBOT staff are considering two route options for a new Neighborhood Greenway on SE 60th or SE 62nd between SE Mitchell and SE Nehalem streets. This survey is asking if the greenway should remain on SE 60th or be moved to SE 62nd. As many of you know, the SE 60th/Reedway Bike Bus uses SE 60th and crosses Woodstock Blvd at SE 60th. If the proposed greenway is moved to SE 62nd, the improved crossing at Woodstock Blvd would be at SE 62nd instead of SE 60th. The Bike Bus supports keeping the greenway on SE 60th. Please take a few minutes to read about the options and share your feedback by November 14, 2025.
Garden Committee

Sales end at midnight on Sunday, November 16. Plant pick up is Friday, December 5. Don't miss out!
Tending the Village - Yoga at Woodstock
Give yourself the gift of an hour just for you!

Woodstock Community News
Dick's Primal Kitchen is celebrating 15 years! They have been a supportive partner in the Woodstock community for many years, allowing groups to use their community gathering space and hosting Dine Outs for many different organizations including ours. We appreciate their support, and now they are asking for our help as they face the many challenges of running a small business.
Here are ways you can let Dick's know you value their contributions to the community:
- Come in for a meal
- Order take-out or delivery for your family or workplace
- Spread the word to neighbors, family, and friends
- Leave a review or share a post online
- Participate in upcoming events and community efforts
