Library Book Return Update
There will be no more books checked out of the library, so the books can be inventoried. The first class at GFS and at JWL to return all of their library books will win a prize! Here are our current standings for the books still outstanding by grade level.
Kindergarten - 5 Books
First Grade - 0 Books
Second Grade - 1 Books
Third Grade - 7 Books
Fourth Grade - 16 Books
Fifth Grade - 12 Books
Please help us get to zero. Remind your students to return their books.
We're so close!!! Thank you for all your support :)
Fourth Grade to Old Sturbridge Village
Our fourth grade students recently enjoyed an exciting field trip to Old Sturbridge Village! Students stepped back in time to explore life in the 19th-century New England community!
All School Assembly
Juneteenth
As part of today's All School Assembly, 18 fourth and fifth grade students shared the history and importance of Juneteenth. Students in all grades participated in lessons this week about this holiday that signifies freedom, equality, and threating all people with dignity and respect.
Lost and Found Fashion Show
Our Caring Adults "modeled" many of the fashionable garments in the Lost and Found at our assembly. And it worked! Quite a few items were claimed. We encourage students and families to check the Lost and Found before end of the year.
Mrs. Mason shows the latest fashions and on the microphone...Mr. Cook!
Mrs. Zou has the style
Mrs. Venancio found a great coat.
Mr. Rogers always brings the style.
Miss Goldberg has the fit.
Mrs. Garon and Mrs. Conn bring the fashion.
Is that Mrs. Green?
Our Amazing PTO
Looking to get involved and before even more a part of GFSJWL? The PTO is a great way to be part of our school. Look at they did this year.😀😮

Get Your Yearbook
Parents can still order a yearbook, it may be shipped to their house or the school depending on when they order it, but if they order sooner rather than later it will be here before the end of the school year. There will be no extras for purchase at the school this year, so if anyone wants one they should order it now. :)
