Week two has been another success! Thank you to our Mac Bay families for our attending our Open House.

Please note that we will begin tracking tardies on Monday. We have taken time to teach policies and procedures and know that every student is capable to be to class on time. Please reinforce PRIDE at home!

Afterschool Tutoring and Homework Help

We partner with a local community organization Neighbors Plus to provide homework assistance in our library each Monday and Wednesday from 2:45-3:45pm beginning Monday, September 11. Students are encouraged to attend that need 1-1 support or just a quiet place to complete their work. Snacks are provided for students that attend. Parents should pick their students up by 3:45pm from the main entrance to the Mac Bay building.

Varsity Football Games for Middle School

Our Varsity Football team has home games on September 8, 29 and Homecoming is October 13. All middle school students need to attend the game with a parent and/or guardian within the gates of the stadium. In addition, it is the expectation that students be seated during the game. If they would like to sit independent of their parents, we have a designated middle school student area on the South side of the field as shown on the map below. Please encourage students to sit with their middle school friends in the "Green Zone" and to be respectful spectators during the game. All school handbook guidelines apply within our stadium.

WO Athletic Boosters are looking to have some amazing middle school parents join their organization. Boosters helps our student athletes and teams by raising funds for a multitude of needs in our athletic program. Please see the attached letter from Boosters president, Tiffany Berry, for more info. Boosters will have their next meeting this upcoming Monday, September 11, at 6pm in the North High School LGI Room.
