Academic League Academic League

zoom_out_map

Academic League is a buzzer competition where teams compete to answer "toss-up" questions and then collaborate on "bonus" questions. With questions from literature, science, history, art, music, sports, pop culture and more, there is something for everyone!

We hold practice matches during club time and many choose to participate in the official season of matches against other schools during the Spring. Stop by, listen to some questions, and see what you think! It's a lot less pressure than it sounds and (in our opinion) quite a bit of fun.

Academic League meets Wednesdays 11:30-12:30 in Rm 9

Additionally, the club champions its own initiative, Eudaimonia, which was founded by eight MEA students through the Aspen Challenge. Eudaimonia connects the lived psychological experiences of teenagers with elementary school parents, fostering a deeper understanding and communication between generations. We are in the process of bringing this initiative to all 133 SDUSD elementary schools through a large-scale partnership with the district. Join us today!
