Principal's Message

Hello Sand Point Families,

Thank you for a wonderful week! It was such a joy to see our Sand Point Squirrels fully embracing Spirit Week and bringing so much energy and creativity into our building. The PTA general meeting was also a wonderful showing of support for our community. Our building wide tennis lessons have truly been a highlight, watching students build new skills and learn the game with confidence and curiosity has been so exciting.

We are looking ahead with excitement here at Sand Point to our upcoming assembly on Friday, February 27, where Ms. Laura’s and Ms. Miller’s classes will share their learning with our community. At the same time, it has been inspiring to see students digging into ideas about art and color as they help design our upcoming school mural—what a powerful way for their voices and creativity to shape our shared spaces.

2026 is off to a strong start, and we have so many wonderful moments still ahead. Please take this week to rest, recharge, and reconnect. We look forward to welcoming all of our squirrels back on Monday, February 23, ready for another great week of learning together. Please reach out if you have any questions or want to connect, we always welcome family feedback!

Warmly,

Dr. Stephanie Zikopoulos
